-
Who can join personalised consultations?Up to you! Sessions can be one-on-one or as a couple or family – whatever works best for you. I actively encourage people to join with their partner or a supporter for more holistic support.
-
Where can we join personalised consultations from?Anywhere that suits! Just make sure you have a secure and private internet or phone connection. Australian residents: Medicare will only offer rebates under the Better Access Initiative (Mental Health Treatment Plan) if we are at least 15km apart, by road, or if you are in a rural or regional area. I'll confirm this with you.
-
Do you work with families around the world? While Sleepnatal was born in Australia, I support parents and families around the world. Please note that I am registered as a psychologist in Australia only as per the Terms & Conditions. This title does not apply internationally.
-
Where do consultations happen?Online or via phone. You'll get a confirmation email with your personalised meeting link beforehand. I use Google Meet for video consultations which is a secure, encrypted online platform.
-
I already had a consult. What are the options for follow-up consults?A range of follow-up consults are available to suit your needs and circumstance. We will discuss a plan when we meet.
-
What issues can you help with in consults?Consults are designed to offer you intensive education and guidance around you and your family's sleep health. Things we can cover may include: insomnia, managing fatigue, relaxation and mindfulness, developing sleep routines, finding social support, communicating what you need, and going back to work. Please note I am unable to offer crisis support if you are in urgent need, or if your physical/psychological safety is at risk. I will lead you to relevant services to help you find the support you need.
-
I had booked an initial consult but I now want to do the Sleepnatal Program. Can I?Absolutely! If you choose to transition to the Sleepnatal Program within six months after your initial consult, the fee for your first consult will be applied to the Program, reducing its cost. You'll receive all the benefits of the Program, excluding the initial consult, which you would have already completed.
-
I'm enrolled in the Sleepnatal Program. Can I book more consults for extra support? The Sleepnatal Program has been developed to give you the tools and knowledge to support your sleep health and that of your family's in a flexible yet structured and supported way. However, learning new skills may come with unexpected challenges which is why you have the option to book additional follow-up consults (30-min or 60-min) for extra support. These will be undertaken through video or phone consults and will attract Medicare rebates for eligible clients. We will discuss your needs and preferences, and collaborate on a plan during consults.
-
How do you handle cancellations and refunds? You can check out the Terms and Conditions page.
